2008 Education with great people

I am currently enrolled in the 2008 AREA licensing program to be an active Real Estate Associate in Edmonton, Alberta. I am extremely excited to be able to offer some increased value add services to local and regional investment clients. This is a great program and I have been blessed to learn with good quality people along the way. With some amazing students to share laughter and life experience with to fantastic teachers providing some quality hands on lessons. This is going to be an amazing year in both my life and Alberta Real Estate and I expect that I shall be completed the program in the next 2 weeks.

If you are a classmate and have not yet registered please follow the associates link to get your account setup so we can stay connected!

Quality Property Management Part 1

When you begin your career investing in Real Estate there are several key elements that are critical to your overall success. One of these key components is “impeccable” property management. Most people begin investing and attempt to cut corners and save costs by taking this perceived simple task all by themselves without learning the ropes first.

After several unique and profound learning lessons from the school of hard knocks dealing with tenants I came to an epiphanies’ moment. You only need to paint, clean, repair, renovate and take so many late night “the sky is falling” phone calls before reaching a common conclusion. That conclusion is that there has to be a better way...that my time and my stress level (or a good night’s sleep) is far more important than the cost of so called “expensive” cost of a good management team. Remember, time is the only non-renewable resource you and I have and when it’s gone it’s gone.

Stay tuned for the continuation where we dig into the nitty gritty
